Kliklok Woodman - Success at Snackex 05

BRISTOL, UK -- Following their success at Interpack 05 in Germany, Kliklok Woodman, an industry leader in packaging solutions for the potato chips and snack food industries, exhibited their POLARIS II bagmaker, at Snackex 05 in Berlin in June.
An updated version of one of the world’s most widely used bagmakers, the POLARIS II now features full servo motor control for increased reliability, with Insight® colour touch screen for easy operator set up and use. This is a graphics-based operator interface, using pictures & icons to make the system easy to use, for efficient productivity and performance.
Kliklok Woodman received visitors from Europe, Australia and the USA, and was able to demonstrate the Polaris II’s impressive range of features such as automatic machine timing for reduced waste, servo motor controls for maximum reliability & repeatability, self-aligning backseal assembly for higher quality seals and self-adjusting film pull belts for improved bag positioning & machine dependability.
The exhibition also gave Kliklok Woodman the opportunity to make visitors aware of their Display Card Loader, a machine designed for the bagged snack industry. The DCL machine places snack food bags on to printed cards, for excellent point of sale presentation, providing instant and effective promotional display. This stainless steel machine can be coupled to an existing bagmaker and will run at up to 80 bags per minute.
