December 7, 2005 - Golden Krispy, a leading snack food producer in Tunisia, partnered with Kliklok-Woodman this year to supply them with a new potato crisp packaging line.  The installation, which took place in October, was a resounding success.  Golden Crispy is running higher than anticipated production speeds with extremely low packaging related waste. 

Kliklok-Woodman, a respected leader and solutions provider to the snack food packaging industry for nearly 60 years, supplied Golden Crispy with the Woodman Compak II bagmaking system integrated with a Yamato ADW 510 Alpha Plus statistical weigher.  This economical system is designed to run speeds of up to 70 bags per minute (Compak II has a maximum speed is 80 bpm), and a complete bag size range.  The bag sizes run from a minimum of 63 mm x 77 mm (2-1/2" x 3") up to 250 mm x 381 mm (9-3/4" x 15").  (Note:  The size range is specified in terms of finished by width x bag length.) 

The Woodman bagmaker range has always been associated with savoury snack food packaging because of Woodman's patented snack food features, including product stripping, a product poker and a product clamp & settler.   All of these items are standard on the Woodman snack food packaging machines and are designed to ensure Kliklok-Woodman customers with maximum packaging efficiencies with minimal packaging waste, a key consideration in determining the actual return on your investment. 

Kliklok-Woodman boasts the largest installed base of snack food packaging machines in the world.  As we speak, a new generation of bagmakers capable of running speeds in excess of 200 bags per minute is being launched.  You may have seen the high-speed Evolution bagmaker at the Pack Expo West show in Las Vegas during October of this year.  Production models are expected to start shipping in early 2006.
