RAT Kliklok-Woodman's R.A.T. (Right Angle Transfer) offers a small-footprint, cost-competitive solution to 90 degree product transfers. The R.A.T. can be integrated with any new Kliklok continuous-motion cartoning system and retro-fitted to existing installations. The R.A.T. accepts products arriving in a single lane at 90 degrees to the Kliklok product infeed conveyor and automatically transfers and places them into the infeed conveyor's flights. Three or four overhead sweep paddles are mechanically driven by the endload cartoner. Independently-driven infeed belts deliver product to servo-driven sweep paddles. Paddles automatically lift away when incoming product is out of sync while the next set of paddles transfers the product to the infeed flights. Out-of-spec product is automatically detected and aborted through the back of the machine. Contact us for more information. |
