Woodman’s new KWest bagmaker combines fast production speeds up to 100 bpm and an extra wide 380mm (15”) bag size range, in multiple configurations to provide users with one of the industry’s most versatile VFFS machines. KWest’s innovative intermittent motion design and standard stainless steel construction meet a wide variety of applications in one efficient model. This highly flexible machine can be configured to produce conventional pillow pouch, machine applied recluse zippers, true block bottom, or distinctive “quad seal” (4 corner) stand up packages. An easily convertible sealing system can accommodate either heat sealable OPP and laminated materials or low density PE packaging films. The KWest features an optional USDA/3A Dairy Certified model, ideal for items such as shredded cheeses or other complete wash-down applications.
